Web Site Posting Policy

Adopted 02/05/2004
This policy defines how our chapter web site can be used as an added benefit to our membership by advertising job openings, conferences and seminars.
General Policy
These announcements will be posted upon approval by the chapter webmaster; no further
approval from a Board member is required. Job postings will remain on the site for no more
than two weeks. Announcements of conferences and seminars will remain on the site for no more
than four weeks. All announcements may be posted for one additional period upon request. Requests
that do not fit into the policy as defined will be reviewed by the webmaster who may, at his/her
discretion, consult the Board president to determine the proper disposition of the request.
Announcements from Western Michigan ISACA Members
Job postings will include the position to be filled, contact information and a link to a page
on your company web site where the detailed description can be found. If such a link is not
available, we will include the full job description in a separate file (eg. Word document or
Adobe PDF file). Announcements of seminars hosted by companies who open the seminar to other
chapter members will include the title, brief description, dates, cost, location, contact
information and a link to a page at a site external to the chapter site where the detailed
description can be found. If such a link is not available, we will include the full description
in a separate file (eg. Word document or Adobe PDF file).
Announcements from Other ISACA Chapters, Members of Other ISACA Chapters or Other Professional
Audit/Security Organizations
Job postings will include the position to be filled, contact information and a link to a page on
your company web site where the detailed description can be found. If such a link is not
available, we will include a note that the contact listed has the detailed description.
Announcements of seminars will include the title, brief description, dates, cost, location, contact information and a link to a page at a site external to the chapter site where the detailed description can be found. If such a link is not available, we will include a note that the contact listed has the detailed description.
Announcements from Other Sources
These parameters apply to job postings from recruiting firms and conference/seminar announcements
from the vendor producing the event, regardless of whether the requester/principal is a member of
an ISACA chapter.
Job postings will include the position to be filled, contact information and a link to a page on your company web site where the detailed description can be found. If such a link is not available, we will include the full job description in a separate file (eg. Word document or Adobe PDF file) for a $20 contribution to the chapter.
Announcements of seminars will include the title, brief description, dates, cost, location,
contact information and a link to a page at a site external to the chapter site where the detailed
description can be found. If such a link is not available, we will include the full description
in a separate file (eg. Word document or Adobe PDF file) for a $20 contribution to the chapter.
